Serve Together continuous to connect you to local non-profits for volunteer-based events. In this month, we are inviting our members, friends, and families to serve in Warehouse Food Sorting at the Central Texas Food Bank on Jan 18th, 2020 between 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

As a warehouse volunteer you’ll help us inspect, clean, sort, box and prepare donated food and non-food items to distribute to our Partner Agencies and distribution programs and the folks they serve.

The minimum age to participate is 8 years old. Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult age 21+ in order to serve. If you are bringing multiple minors, you must bring one adult for every five volunteers under 18.

We ask all volunteers to arrive at least 15 minutes before the listed start time. Please plan to give yourself ample opportunity to locate the building, get checked in, and be ready to start on time.

Although our Product Recovery room is climate controlled, you may be asked to volunteer for jobs that may involve entering a cold area or area that is not air conditioned for portions of the project.
